We are happy to have our dear friend and yogi, Jill Torpy, visiting in July and offering a special round of yoga classes to our Cordova Yoga Community!
She’ll be offering 8 classes starting Tuesday, July 9. Classes end July 27.
Tuesdays and Thursdays – 7:30-8:30am
Saturdays – 9:00-10:00am (excluding Saturday, July 13 – cuz it’s Salmon Jam, folks!)
Receive 15% discount if you sign up for all 8! Regularly $88. With discount, only $75.!
Option to purchase amount of classes you can attend @$11./class.
Drop-in = $15./class

I had my first yoga experience right here in Cordova on the Eyak spit about 20 years ago. I furthered my practice for years with our beloved Alyssa after she started teaching yoga at Current Rhythms and after leaving Alaska, I found another teacher that I adored in Mankato MN. I received my Hatha certification from SunMoon there in Mankato in 2009 and have since honed my teaching style through practice, workshops and intensives into what I would consider an intuitive and alignment based practice. I owned and operated a one teacher studio for several years in the midwest before taking on another teacher, eventually selling the studio to her and moving back to my home state of Colorado. In the past few years I have really enjoyed teaching a few small groups and continuing my personal practice. Outside of yoga, I am a wife and mother of two grown children, I love hiking, camping, an occasional paddle board, rock climbing and silversmithing. I am truly, deeply honored to be teaching in the very place where my love of yoga and movement began!
Each of our 8 classes will look different depending on who is there and what is needed that morning. We will focus on connecting to our innate wisdom of our own being and creating space for what will serve you that day. I would say one of my mottos for life is Attitude is everything and I will do my best to leave you feeling your best.
